George Tatakis is exhibiting and publishing his work internationally in important institutions and media, such as the Benaki and Fragonard Museums, the New York Times, National Geographic and LFI. His body of work and numbered print owners are archived at the Benaki Museum. George studied and worked as an Electrical Engineer, but his true passion always lay in art, especially image making. The main means he uses to make images is through photography. The purpose of his images is to express his view of the world by directing moments taking place in front of him. Engineering dreams out of real-life moments. In 2013, after realising that one can only achieve artistic success by following an obsession, he decided to follow his passion and slowly make the transition to a full-time image making career.
